Meet Maev’s January Dog of the Month
This may come as a surprise, but there’s nothing we love more than celebrating dogs. So, each month we’re spotlighting a dog from our community. For the month of January, we’d like you to meet Rosie!
Tell us about your dog’s origin story (how they chose you, how you chose them, or how they got their name).
We had 3 dogs to choose between. I am very indecisive and was worried it was going to be a hard decision. When the time came to choose a puppy, I just knew. Rosie lunged at me, and I picked her up. She immediately snuggled her face into mine, and I looked at my husband and said, “This is our Rosie Girl.” I truly believe she chose us. She is the perfect fit for our family.

What’s your absolute favorite thing about your dog?
My answer: She has so much love to give. She has a spunky personality, but can also be so sweet. She is truly the perfect dog. She knows when you’ve had a tough day and will come and curl up in my lap. It is truly the best feeling.
My husband’s answer: “When she takes long naps.” (He works from home, lol.)
What’s your dog’s favorite thing about you?
Two words: Treat Giver
If you could text your dog (or if they could text you), what would you say or ask (or what would they say or ask)?
Rosie: When is my next meal?
Me: You literally ate 5 minutes ago …
What’s your dog’s go-to Maev product?
She LOVES her Raw Puppy Food
Is there anything else we should know about your dog? (think funny anecdotes, defining characteristics, etc.)
She sounds like a gremlin when she’s speaking. It is the most hysterical thing.
She is very feisty and has a strong personality.
She loves playing with all the neighborhood dogs! No matter how small or large.
She was supposed to be a white lab, but is quickly turning yellow.
She has a little pink spot on her nose (kind of like a freckle).
