Meet Maev’s November Dog of the Month
This may come as a surprise, but there’s nothing we love more than celebrating dogs. So, each month we’re spotlighting a dog from our community. For the month of November, we’d like you to meet Tucky!
Tell us about your dog’s origin story (how they chose you, how you chose them, or how they got their name).
We got Tucky in Rhode Island. She was chosen (for us) because of her temperament since we live in NYC. We originally thought we were getting a boy dog, so we chose the name Tucker, but then we switched it to Tucky.
Squirrels, bunnies, or birds?
Birds! (We have lots of pigeons in NYC.)
What’s your absolute favorite thing about your dog?
Tucky is very sweet and loyal. She also has a very funny and playful personality. She is always looking for some socks to steal or for someone to play soccer with her.
What’s your dog’s favorite thing about you?
Tucky loves that she can spend so much time with her parents since we work from home a lot. She also loves when we share food with her (especially cheese)!
If you could text your dog (or if they could text you), what would you say or ask (or what would they say or ask)?
Tucky would definitely ask to play and ask for chicken and treats. If I could text her, I would ask her why she’s so obsessed with socks.
What’s your dog’s go-to Maev product?
She loves the Raw Food and Supplement Bars! She’s been eating Maev for over a year now and is so healthy, athletic, and has the softest fur.
Is there anything else we should know about your dog? (think funny anecdotes, defining characteristics, etc.)
Tucky is really fast and loves to be chased by other dogs. She loves her parents and is always so happy to see us (even if we’re only gone for 2 minutes). She is the sweetest, cutest girl!
