Meet Maev’s December Dogs of the Month
This may come as a surprise, but there’s nothing we love more than celebrating dogs. So, each month we’re spotlighting a dog from our community. For the month of December, we’d like you to meet Kaia and Koda!
Tell us about your dog’s origin story (how they chose you, how you chose them, or how they got their name).
Kaia was my ex-boyfriend’s. I fell in love with her (and the breed), then adopted Koda from a rescue in Philly. The ex left Kaia with me and she is SO loved 💕
Squirrels, bunnies, or birds?
Squirrels! Koda only! (Kaia prefers sunbathing).
What’s your absolute favorite thing about your dog?
Koda's silly personality. Kaia's a love bug and very protective of me.
What’s your dog’s favorite thing about you?
The silly noises I make.
If you could text your dog (or if they could text you), what would you say or ask (or what would they say or ask)?
They would ask for cookies, and I would tell them I love them allllllllll day.
What’s your dog’s go-to Maev product?
They’re huge fans of everything so far!! Chicken and Beef Raw Food and their daily Supplement Bar! Even my mom's mini Eskimo loves it, and he’s picky!
Is there anything else we should know about your dog? (think funny anecdotes, defining characteristics, etc.)
I just want to show that their breed is so loving and not what people portray pit bulls to be!
