From Maev HQ: A look into our most sustainable & responsible product experience yet.

2022’s already been a big year for Maev. More than ever before, we’re introducing new dogs to their best nutrition. And with every satisfied stomach, we’re building a higher standard for the dog food industry — one that prioritizes your dog’s health and care without promoting wasteful or unethical processes.

As we continue to serve the nutrition needs of more dogs in more states everywhere, our commitment to doing more for the environment stands truer too — for the good of our dogs and the beautiful outdoors we’re lucky to share together. In honor of this year’s Earth Day, allow us to recap our biggest moves yet.

Our most reliable and responsible fulfillment centers yet.

Early this year, we moved Maev’s packing and shipping operations to our most efficient fulfillment centers yet. What does this mean? No matter what region you're in, we can ship faster and smoother than ever before. It also reduces the carbon footprint expended on each box shipped.

New bicoastal fulfillment centers also mean we can better guarantee perfectly-frozen Maev every time — despite weather, courier, or economic circumstances. So wherever you are and whenever you need us, we’re able to provide the nutrition your dog deserves.

State-of-the-art shipping, for even less carbon footprint.

Insulation is a critical component to shipping frozen food — and we’re proud to have unlocked our most innovative and reliable solution yet. Every box of Maev is now packed with a biodegradable and recyclable shipping liner that offers stronger insulation than even Styrofoam. All you have to do is store your freezer-ready food, soak the liner in your sink, and watch it disappear. Kind of like magic.

Sleeker, more intuitive packaging that reduces waste.

We know freezer space is precious, so we recently rolled out a newly-designed Raw Food bag that features a leaner body without sacrificing food space. It’s also now resealable, so you don’t have to worry about spillage, overpouring, or scavenging for your last chip clip.

We hope this allows for a more streamlined and complete pour anytime you’re feeding Maev — and encourages a down-to-the-last-piece mentality that prevents unnecessary food waste.

More Maev updates coming soon.

Innovating new ways to support your dog’s best nutrition while decreasing our environmental footprint is an essential goal in Maev’s growth — and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been cooking up.
